In this position, the Test Development Engineer-I will have following responsibilities.
1. Understanding and writing of the test cases and the scripts as per the JEDEC eMMC 4.5 and above specifications.
2. Keeping track of changes in the specs. and updating the test packages as & when required.
3. Review of the new DVT/CHZ test cases from SDUS and SDIL
4. Bringing the target reference board and doing the memory compatibility feasibility with it.
5. RMA support for the issues reported by the customer or field engineer.
6. Automation of the test scripting and packaging to enhance to testing efficiency.
7. Reporting to Project and Program manager for the test update
Requirements:
- Attitude and aptitude towards test planning, test measurement and test execution.
- Mindset towards delivering the Highest Quality product to the customer.
- Must be execution focused, have zeal to learn more and do more. Take initiatives.
- Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
